Configuring your business domain
Overview
Your business domain (e.g. `yourcompany.com`) is the foundation of your Twake organisation. It must be verified before you can add members or configure Mail and Chat sub-domains.
Prerequisites
- An active subscription
- Access to your domain registrar's DNS settings (OVH, Gandi, Cloudflare, etc.)
- Owner or Administrator role in the Business dashboard
How to verify your business domain
1. In the Business dashboard, go to Company in the left sidebar.
2. Twake displays a TXT verification record — copy the value shown in the TXT Record field.
3. Log in to your domain registrar's DNS settings and create a new record:

4. Return to the Business dashboard and click Next to trigger verification.
After verification
Once your business domain is verified, you can:
- Add members to your organisation
- Configure your Mail sub-domain
- Configure your Chat sub-domain
Frequently asked questions
Can I change my domain after verification?
Domain editing is not available through the interface. Contact support@twake.app.
What if verification keeps failing?
Check that the TXT record was saved correctly in your registrar, with no extra spaces. Some registrars take up to 48 hours to propagate changes.
